The name itself implies what stretch marks means, marks caused by the skin stretching too quickly and these can occur when someone grows too fast or gains weight or muscle tissue.
Here the cortisone in your system plays a big role as well because it is a hormone that is created by the adrenal glands, responsible for reducing the elasticity of the skin.
Many stretch marks look like scars because in fact they are and that is because the top layer of skin, called the epidermis grows rapidly allowing it to stretch, but the lower layer called the dermis doesn’t, and it splits.
But not all stretch marks are the same, some are purple, some red, and some reddish brown. When they fade, they remain a white color. But because they are scars, you need to treat them as such and eliminate them.
With the help of these two ingredients, the stretch marks can fade easily, aloe vera gel and olive oil.
Aloe vera gel
This plant is a succulent, so that means that it has leaves that are thick and fleshy where the water stores. It is used for skin treatment because it has incredible healing power. You can break off a leaf, split it open and rub it on a burn or a cut, and it cools and soothes the area. It has a load of nutrients, but it also provides moisture to the skin. This plant contains vitamin C, beta-carotene, and vitamin E.
Vitamin E is going to help you eliminate the scarring and it will make the healing process quicker, but if you put it directly on the skin in concentrated form, it can cause contact dermatitis, so you’ll have a rash, and that is much worse than the stretch marks.
But when it is a part of the aloe vera gel, it doesn’t do that. The vitamin C, just like vitamin E, is an antioxidant and they help boost the production of collagen while it reduces inflammation and irritation, but it also helps fade scars.
Olive oil is good for you for God knows how many reasons, but let’s say that the best thing about it is its ability t0 help eliminate inflammations, and this means most people can use it without having a skin reaction, even though it soaks deeply into the top layer of skin to reach the dermis.
But this oil has nutrients such as vitamin E and Omega-3 fatty acids that lock in moisture. All the nutrients that it has such as the vitamins A, B1, B2, C, and D help promote healthy skin.
You can prepare this cream by pouring half a cup of olive oil over half a cup of aloe gel and mix this well with a spoon or if you want, you can blend them. Then add in six capsules of vitamin E or four capsules of vitamin A and mix everything and don’t stop until you get a homogeneous paste. You can apply to the affected area twice a day, without needing a rinse.
